Tauret (Guardian of the Horizon)
Our Tauret, a Jeanneau SunOdyssey 45.1, is a spacious, capable blue-water cruiser. With 4 double cabins, and dinette seating which folds down to an extra double bed in the salon, she is the ideal temporary home for 8-10 sailors who want all the creature comforts on holiday without compromising on quality yachting.
Sachmet (Mighty)
Sachmet was built by the reliable shipbuilding company Jeanneau in 1976 under the designation Folie Douce, which means crazy sweet. Well, definitely the foolishness fits.
Sachmet’s vintage means on the one hand she is less spacious than her younger siblings, but on the other, she is tremendously reliable and safe. She was built before thin laminate manufacturing techniques were developed, so the ships were built solid and strong to withstand the bad weather. Have a look at the crash test to see just how sturdy these boats are.
